How the day went: 24 players all played 5 x 20-minute rounds of very competitive tennis, they had different partners each round, their individual game scores were added up to find our winners. We presented prizes to our 6 winners.
Then we all adjourned outside for Dave’s Famous Ball Rolling Game. Lucila Breckon is our Ball Rolling Champion. Lucila was our youngest competitor, she battled out for a win against our oldest competitor Dave R’s Mum.
As this tournament was Christmas themed we had prizes for the player with the most imaginative Christmas outfit.
The winners were: Liz C, Phil D and Phil C
Thank you everyone for a brilliant day. We will run another tournament in the future
Our next fund-raising endeavour will be a Quiz Night on Monday 2 March at the Pint and Pony. Our local councillor, Andre Moore, will be our Quiz Master for the evening. Teams of 4-6.
Over the Christmas break get your teams together, study hard to win the quiz. We need your help donating prizes for our silent auction.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
