Tennis at Alert Level 2

With Auckland moving to Alert Level 2 from Thursday 24 September we wanted to provide our community with an update on how they can play!

 

Community Play Sessions

The weekly Community Play Sessions at Manukau Tennis, Sports and Community Centre will recommence with the new school term, with the first session scheduled for Wednesday 14 October.

Kids sessions run from 5-6pm in the Dome, and adult sessions follow at 6pm on the outer courts. Sessions are free, led by qualified coaches, all equipment is provided and no registrations are required – just turn up and play!

 

Love Tennis Weekend

Tennis Auckland Senior Interclub

Tennis Auckland Senior Interclub will commence this weekend, Saturday 26 September.

All information has been provided to Interclub Controllers, and players are urged to touch base with their club representative if they have any questions.

 

Coaching and National Programmes

All coaching and National Programmes are currently running at Scarbro Tennis Centre, with appropriate health and safety measures in place for Alert Level 2.

Tennis Hot Shots Blue stage will recommence classes from the start of Term 4, with bookings now open via the Tennis Auckland website.

 

Tennis Auckland Indoor Competitions

Tennis Auckland Indoor Competitions (Evening Indoor, Women’s Singles and Women’s Doubles) will continue to run at Scarbro Tennis Centre. Tennis Auckland will be in contact with participants regarding rescheduling of rounds missed due to the recent lockdown.

 

Court Bookings

The public are able to book courts at both Scarbro Tennis Centre and Manukau Tennis, Sports and Community Centre. Court bookings are available via the Tennis Auckland website, where users will be able to find information on the booking process and fees.
