NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Wainuiomata Tennis Club Incorporated

The Annual General Meeting of the Wainuiomata Tennis Club will be held on:

Date: Sunday 9 August 2026
Time: 4.00 pm
Venue: Wainuiomata Tennis Club Clubrooms

All members and interested individuals are welcome to attend.

AGM Papers
The AGM papers, including the 78th Annual Report and Financial Statements, will be circulated to members prior to the meeting.

Member Motions and Other Business
In accordance with the Club Constitution, Voting Members are invited to submit the following for consideration at the AGM:

• Proposed motions or resolutions (including amendments to the Constitution)
• Nominations for the positions of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and any vacant Committee Member positions
• Nominations for Life Membership
• Any other items of business expressly permitted under the Constitution to be decided at a General Meeting

All submissions must:

• Be made in writing to the Secretary - email to admin@wainuiomatatennis.org.nz
• Include the name of the proposer
• Be seconded by another Voting Member (where required)
• Include a brief explanation or rationale where appropriate

Closing Date for Submissions
All motions, nominations, and notices of business must be received by the Secretary no later than 5.00 pm, Sunday 26 July 2026

Committee Nominations
The Club relies on volunteers to help guide and grow our tennis community.

We are seeking nominations for Committee positions and encourage members to consider contributing their skills, experience, and enthusiasm. Whether you're interested in governance, events, facilities, communications, finance, or supporting tennis in our community, we'd love to hear from you.

Many hands make light work, and serving on the Committee is a rewarding way to contribute to the future of the Club.

Court Closure
Please note that the tennis courts will be closed from 3.30 pm on Sunday 9 August 2026 for the remainder of the day to allow for the AGM.

Join Us Afterwards
Members are invited to stay after the AGM for drinks (BYO) and nibbles as we reflect on the past year and celebrate our Club community.
