It is with sadness that we announce the death of long-standing club member and Life Member Graham Alderton.

Graham died 29 March 2022 aged 74.

Graham was valued member of the club and contributed to the success of the club in many ways. For many years Graham led a team involved in the club's development, notably the upgrading of courts at Kilbirnie and served many years on the club's committee. As Mr Fix-it, he kept all the club's facilities working. He was also active in interclub, club tournaments, and social occasions up until the end of 2021. For his outstanding contributions, Graham was made a Life Member in 1992.

Graham was well known for his sense of humour and his dedication to the club and will be missed by his many friends at Kilbirnie Tennis Club.
