Summer League Finals Night Celebrated with Strong Turnout and Awards Presentation

Following the conclusion of the regular 6:00pm tennis league competition last Thursday evening, members gathered for a well-attended Finals Night event to mark the end of the 2025/2026 Summer League season.

The evening, hosted by Club President Bill Taylor, provided an opportunity for players to reflect on the season’s competition in a relaxed and social setting. Attendees enjoyed refreshments, including pizza, while the season’s achievements were formally recognised.

A range of awards were presented to acknowledge participation, performance, and perseverance throughout the season:

• Inspirational Players
  Awarded to players who dropped down a group but most frequently regained promotion during the season. These players receive automatic entry into next season’s Summer League:

• 3rd (equal): Luan Muir and Hannah McWilliams

The Summer League once again demonstrated strong participation and competitive spirit across all grades. The club acknowledges the contribution of all players and organisers who made the season successful.

Planning is already underway for next season, with many players securing automatic qualification based on their results.
