Wednesday Senior Club Night
Not a member? Your first Wednesday night visit is free!
Drop by! Casual players of all levels and visitors are most welcome. Join us for organised social games from 6pm every Wednesday.
Purchase 5 visits: For just $50 you can purchase a 5 Visit Card. It's a great way to try us out. 5 Visit Cards are available from the bar, Wednesdays after 6pm.
Juniors Friday Night
All juniors are welcome - coaching provided from 5-6pm for the younger kids while the older ones can enjoy some match play with mates.
Non members are welcome to try our Friday night club night - first visit is free!!! Future visits are $10 - pretty sure they will want to become a member though so they can attend every week for free! Get your juniors to bring their friends and introduce them to tennis!
Mid-week Ladies Thursday
Join a fun group of players on Thursday mornings - all visitors can have 2 free visits at our Thursday morning social play. If you are still not sure about tennis after 2 visits, we also have a concession card system which you can purchase 10 visits before officially joining the Club.

Senior Interclub
While we may not host the top level interclub grades we are extremely proud of the teams we enter each season. Orakei is considered fair, competitive and enthusiastic - we host a bar upstairs and boast some of the best foodies around the Bays - and beware we are so welcoming many previous competitors have switched sides and come to join our ranks!
Senior interclub consists of home & away matches every second Saturday from midday (approx Sept - early Dec & Feb - April)
Mens and Womens Open - 4 individual players with one singles and one doubles each
Presidents Open - 4 women and 4 men with one doubles and one mixed doubles each (aged 30 years plus)
We traditionally enter multiple Mens and Womens Open Singles teams, along with one Presidents team, yet we are always looking for new talent to join us!

We enter several junior interclub teams each year in term 1 and 4.
Mid-week tennis
Midweek members are entitled to use the courts Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. All midweek members are invited to the Clubs social and fun tournament events which may take place during weekends or weekday evenings.
Orakei Midweek Tennis has never been so popular as it is right now! It is exciting, friendly and enjoyable tennis.
We provide novice sessions, back to tennis sessions, play days, fun tournaments, Club Champs during Term 1 and indoor/outdoor interclub teams. We have at least one fun event each term.

Organised tennis at Orakei is scheduled on Thursday from 915am to noon. We have a strong presence in midweek interclub with teams playing summer and winter across several different grades and days.
