Term 1 coaching sessions will be online by the end of December for registrations. Note we will carry over all players from Term 4 sessions at Karori United and Talavera, to the same sessions starting week one of Term 1. Invoicing will be sent early in the term.

New programs are starting at the Maungaraki Tennis Club in Term 1, if you have any queries on what we may have on offer, please get in touch with us.

A new CommunityFit program will be trialed at Maungaraki which includes "PlayBreak" for preschoolers (already run at Karori). We may run the FitBreak and ReviveBreak for adults in Karori if there is enough interest.

Summer Holiday Program up online for registrations, it will be run over the last week of January. Morning sessions at Maungaraki, afternoon sessions at Karori United.

Introduction

Director of Cyperus Limited, Darren Ward, trades as Cyperus Tennis + Fitness, running  professional tennis coaching services at the Karori United Tennis Club (KUTC) Maungaraki Tennis Club (MTC) and Talavera Tennis Club (TTC), as well as personal training through CityFitness Lower Hutt.

Darren leads the coaching team as the Club Professional, along with wife Lorrae (TNZ Coaching Assistant).  We develop and mentor University and High School students with sound tennis skills into Coaching Assistant roles, giving them more responsibility and opportunities when they have proven their ability in particular areas.

The coaching program runs all year round, with a variety of services offered at the Clubs at all levels.

Personal Training can be offered through the CityFitness gym network, limited availability during afternoon / evening. Most sessions scheduled during morning / lunchtime periods.
