Special General Meeting – Adoption of New Constitution

Saturday, 6th December @ 10am, Clive Tennis Clubrooms

Members are advised that Clive Tennis Club will be holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) to consider and adopt a new club constitution. All incorporated societies, including ours, must adopt a new constitution that meets the updated legal requirements before April 2026 in order to remain registered. We encourage all members to attend and take part in this important step for the future of our club.

Over the past few months, the Club Committee has been working carefully to review and finalise a draft version of the new constitution. This process has involved comparing our current rules with the new legal requirements, ensuring that the updated document reflects both the needs of our members and the way our club operates today. The draft constitution will be shared with members ahead of the SGM so everyone has the opportunity to read through it and provide feedback before the meeting.

Clive Tennis Club is based in Clive, Hastings. We welcome tennis players from all around Hawkes Bay. With three hard courts, we can play all year round in the Hawkes Bay sunshine.

We offer affordable annual membership fees for individuals and families.

CLUB NIGHTS are on Tuesday evenings from 5.30pm, year-round (weather-permitting). Adults of all abilities welcome. Non-members are welcome to visit a session before becoming a member - we'll sure you'll love it though!

JUNIOR CLUB COACHING takes place on Saturday mornings in terms 1 and 4.
