Linking Sports with Kevin Ma and Team
Role
Kevin’s focus is to promote Tennis sports to children and adults among Asian communities. Through the programme of Hot Shots, Kevin’s mission is to attract more Asian Children to love tennis, and nurture a spirit.
Qualifications and Experience
Kevin Ma has been leading National Tennis (Chinese) Programme with Tennis Northern and Tennis NZ, since July 2018. The programme also has been strongly supported by Harbour Sport and Active Asian. There are more than 5730 hours that Asian children and adults in the communities have been playing in the programme at Albany Tennis Park up to the end of 2020. About 70% – 80% of them had been supplied to different tennis clubs.
Kevin works closely with Nick Jacques the Tennis Manager for Tennis Northern and holds a Level 1 ITF(JDC) Cerficate.
