LOVE TENNIS – SUNDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2023

The free fun day is from 10am to 4pm. Free Entry to a draw for a trip to the 2024 Australian Open in Melbourne (Flights, Hotel and Tennis Passes).  Members able to assist please contact Taylor Keen on 021 216 0674.

Members are asked to bring friends who are new to tennis or simply getting back to it.  Tennis action for all abilities and a special section for children. 

 

LIGHT PROJECT – Courts 6 and 7.

By adding up the money saved by the club, donations and generous pledges from Members and the MTA we are just over halfway towards the target of $100,000.

This is a great effort and we will continue to work hard to raise the monies.  Please consider making a pledge.

Pledge certificates are available at the Clubhouse and from Club Committee Members.  Pledges by email to the Club at office@marlboroughtennis.co.nz are also welcome.

 

PRESIDENT GRADE COMPETITION - October

Members of the Club who have not yet settled on a Team for this season’s event (held on a Tuesday at 6pm and organised by the Marlborough Tennis Association) but would like to play.  Please contact Bill Taylor on 0278680691.  There are Four Divisions so all abilities catered for.  It is a doubles competition with two men and two women in a team.

 

 

SOUTH ISLAND MASTERS GAMES – 30yrs+

Last held in Marlborough in 2020 it returns this year.

Our Club organises the tennis on Saturday 21st October (Men’s and Women’s Doubles) and Sunday 22nd October (Mixed Doubles).

SUMMER LEAGUE – 2023/4

REGISTRATION EMAIL WILL BE SENT AT 9AM ON MONDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER

This Club competition will be held on a Thursday evening at 5.45pm, starting 12thOctober through to 14th March (Short Christmas break).  Entry is on a ‘first come first served’ basis.

 

OFFICE MANAGER – Thanks to Joanna Leighton Jones for stepping back into the role pending the job being re-advertised.
