NEW DRINKING FOUNTAIN

A new Drinking Fountain has been donated and installed by Downer Group Blenheim.  Our thanks and appreciation for the gift of this important facility for the hydration of players. The old fountain had failed after many years of excellent use.

PROJECT LAUNCH FOR LIGHTS ON COURTS 6 & 7

Following the success of the replacement lights on Courts 1-5 the Club Committee has launched a project to install similar lighting on Courts 6 and 7.  This will help meet the demand for lit courts and allow an expansion of events, competitions and coaching.  There will be fund raising events and bids for grants to support the project.  In addition Members are being invited to make a 'Pledge' to help reach the $100k target.  The cost comprises infrastructure enhancement, two new poles and the LED lights.

A copy of the 'Pledge Certificate is shown here and is available at the Clubhouse or from any Committee Member.  An Email to the Club making a Pledge is also very acceptable.  No monies will be requested until the target figure has been secured.  The plan is to have the lights on 6 & 7 in place by next Winter.
