Opaki Tennis Club

Nestled in the heart of rural Opaki, just outside Masterton, Opaki Tennis Club is a friendly and welcoming community club with four all-weather astro turf courts and a comfortable clubhouse. Whether you're a complete beginner, returning to the game, or a seasoned player, we'd love to have you join us. We welcome members of all ages and abilities.

Club Nights

Our popular Wednesday Club Nights start from 6.30pm and are a great way to meet other players, enjoy some social doubles, and have fun on the court. These sessions are best suited to players of intermediate ability and above, but new members are always welcome.

Coaching

We offer tennis coaching for both juniors and adults, starting from age 5 and up, with our local coach Boon Huxtable. Whether you're learning the basics or looking to improve your game, coaching is available for all skill levels.

Spaces are limited, so if you're interested in coaching, please contact our Club President, Tori Bunny, for more information.

Interclub Tennis

For those looking for a more competitive challenge, we field several interclub teams across a range of grades, including Regional 1, Regional 2 Mixed, and Women's Division competitions.

If you're interested in representing the club, please get in touch with our Club Captain, Abbie Mason.

Come along, have a hit, and experience the friendly community spirit that makes Opaki Tennis Club such a great place to play tennis.
