Welcome and thank you for your interest in Opawa Tennis Club.
Tennis membership commences 1st September to 31st August each year
The club was established in 1907. This website outlines the range of membership options and activities that take place. You are welcome to visit on club days. Please introduce yourself and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our club.
Opawa Tennis Club is situated on Cholmondeley Ave which is across the road from the historic home and gardens of Risingholme.

6 SEPTEMBER: Saturday: Junior Interclub team sorting. Registration for all 10-11.30am.*
7 SEPTEMBER: Sunday: LOVE TENNIS Open Day 10am-2pm.
9 SEPTEMBER: Tuesday: Junior Interclub team sorting: 4-5pm New to Interclub and 12&under.*
5-6pm 14U&under & Open teams*
13 SEPTEMBER: Saturday: Junior Interclub team sorting: 10am-11.30am All Junior interclub players*
* Junior interclub players try to make it to 2 or all of these slots. We welcome new and returning players interested in being in an junior interclub team
FYI: Teams are due in at Tennis Canterbury by 15 September.
4 OCTOBER: Saturday: Hot Shots Open Day. 8.30-9.15am 5-7year olds. 9.15-10.15am 8 plus
6 OCTOBER: Monday: Start up coaching day for Hot Shots and Junior Interclub teams.
9 OCTOBER: Thursday: Start up coaching day for Hot Shots and Junior Interclub teams.
11 OCTOBER: Saturday: Official start up for Hot Shots Saturday coaching.
