What’s On Jan 16-20, 2022

Senior social tennis has gotten off to a nice start with some fresh faces along with fan favourites.  This week there are more social play options to bust the back-to-work blues.

Sunday Avo 16/1 (2-4pm)- It may be windy but all six courts are ready and Club Treasurer, Ian Hay, will run the board for social mixed doubles.  Bar open after.

Monday 17/1- Your sofa tennis fortnight begins with the Aussie Open kick off!  Cheer on our Kiwis- Michael Venus, Marcus Daniell, Artem Sitak & Erin Routliffe.  Erin is partnered with US Open singles runner-up Leylah Fernandez in doubles- exciting!  Sky Sport Now is a great way to stream and even single week packages are available.

Tuesday Evening 18/1 (4:30-7pm)- Senior Singles on Courts 1-4.  Text Club Captain Tom on 021-0829-4696 to secure a spot.

Wednesday Night 19/1- Senior Night- Be in to win…

• 6-7pm: Courts 1-3 booked for self-organised early-bird play
• 6:00-6:30 & 6:30-7pm Courts 5&6: Club Coaching is back with Head Coach Sergey.  Very popular last year so we will trial shorter half hour clinics so more players can get involved and then join in after.  First to eight players for both sessions.
• 7-9pm Courts 1-6:  Mixed doubles with a board run by Club Manager Dawn
• Bar open from 8pm and a double pass to Will Smith’s Golden Globe winning performance as Richard Williams in King Richard (flier attached) will be drawn at 8:30pm! 

Thursday Morning Vets 20/1- Courts 1-4 (9am -12pm)

The Vets are back action on four courts.  TESE School Holiday Programme on Courts 5-6.  

Thursday Ladies Night 20/1 (7-9pm Courts 1-4)

Bar open to toast 2022 at 8:30pm.
