Introduction
Southern Tennis Club was formed in 2016 and was the amalgamation of the Mayfield, Hinds and Longbeach tennis clubs. Our club patrons are John Greenslade and Reg Donaldson. The club offers coaching for any ability on a Friday afternoon at the Hinds School courts, by Andre van Rooyen.
The Southern tennis club currently has 6 Junior teams playing interclub on a Saturday morning and 8 players playing in the A reserve competition.
Social tennis is also played on a Tuesday evening at the Hinds Courts.
