Tennis South Canterbury Masters Inc

Tennis South Canterbury Masters (TSCM) Incorporated is a club affiliated to Tennis New Zealand Masters (TNZM) through Tennis South Canterbury (TSC). All member fees include a levy that is paid to TSC and then through them on to Tennis New Zealand.

TSCM was formed on 02/11/1986. It was formed to give older (senior) players good competition with people of similar ages. It is also great for those people on their own to get out and meet others. We have around 62 members and this includes honorary and life members.

TSCM players are encouraged to participate in representative tennis. Representative tennis is played regularly against other associations. Our inter-regional competitions are against North Otago, Otago, Canterbury, Canterbury Country, Central Lakes, Nelson, Marlborough. These fixtures are normally played on a Sunday or over three days at longer tournaments. Periodically we have been able to enter a team or two in the New Zealand Agegroup Nationals. All tournaments that we enter are doubles only - gender doubles and mixed doubles. We also have tournament tams that ar chosen for events. These events can be 30+, Super Seniors (55+) and 65+ (Golden Vets).
