Hot Shots Tennis is THE name for kids' tennis in New Zealand. The programme reinforces international best practice - promoting the game using a learning through play philosophy meaning kids learn TENNIS rather than just technique. 

At Blue Stage, children are introduced and encouraged to explore and develop Fundamental Perceptual Motor Skills (FPMS), in addition to developing life skills. This includes:

Physical Skills - walking, running, skipping, jumping, hopping, leaping and dodging.  

Body Management Skills - balancing the body in motion and while still. This includes balancing, bending and stretching

There will be an emphasis on play, creativity, imagination and exploration within movement experiences under the expert guidance of the deliver. Parents are asked to join their child on court for Blue Stage sessions and part of the action too!
