Court Usage Principles
- To make the most efficient use of our courts for members, coaches, and guests, consistent with the rights of the membership categories.
- To provide a mix of social, organised, and competitive play, and coaching
- To allow fair use of courts and avoid any parties booking excessive courts
- To enable the coaching team to run a viable business
Membership Category Booking Rules
- Mid week members can play before 5.30 pm Monday - Friday, plus Wednesday clubnight 7.00 - 10.00 pm.
- Junior members (including junior Family members) can only play before 5.30 pm Monday - Friday, plus participate in organised ennis or coaching after 5.30 pm. Juniors can play at weekends, and can book those courts on the same day.
Exception is the Junior (Senior Interclub) category which has same playing rights as Seniors.
Court Booking Rules
- Court bookings open 7.00 am for 7 days ahead.
- Courts should be cancelled as early as possible if they cannot be used. To cancel a court, either use the link in the booking email, or go to your Account (click your initials top right, then Bookings on the Your Account menu).
- Members can only book one court per day, 90 min max.
- Guests can book courts mid-week before 5.30 pm (guest fee due).
- Guests can play with members in peak hours and weekends on courts booked by members (guest fee due).
- Guests can only play once at Clubnight and Amigos, with $15 guest fee.
- Members cannot book courts on behalf of other members or guests.
- If players are not on court within 10 minutes of the start time, other members can take over the court.
- No floodlights are available on Sundays, so courts not usable Sunday evenings (time depends upon season).
- During mid-week peak, 5.30 - 9.00 pm, courts should be used by a minimum of two players.
