Junior Interclub for upcoming 2025/26 season

Calling junior tennis players aged 9 to 18 years old! We encourage you to register for junior interclub, where you get to play weekly matches (singles and doubles) in a team competition this summer (from October 2025 through to March 2026).  It’s a great way to improve your tennis and match play and have fun on the court with your team mates.

To register: Please complete this registration form (one form per junior) 25/26 NTC Junior Interclub Registration Form by SUNDAY 31st AUGUST 2025.

Here’s some further information:

Age groups (as at 30 April 2026) and playing days/times:

  • 9-10 years old (mixed) - play on Sundays 8.30am to 11am
  • 11-12 (boys/girls) - play on Saturdays 8am to 10am
  • 13-15 (boys/girls) - play on Saturdays 10.30am to 12.30pm or 1pm to 3pm
  • 16-18 (boys/girls)- play on Fridays 5pm to 7pm
  • Premiers (based on ability rather than age) - play on Sundays 11am to 1.30pm

The Age Group that a junior can play in is based on their age as at 30th April 2026.

Teams are made up of a minimum of 4 players and Premier grade teams made up of a minimum of 2 players. At the match, each player will play a singles match and a doubles match.

Teams are formed by the Head Coach and Junior Convenors at our club - there are NO trials.

Several teams are available for different skill levels and friend requests can be considered (but not always possible).

Teams will be announced via email in mid to late September and the season starts in October (see below).

Season dates

Matches are held each week and run for 7 weeks pre-Christmas and 7 weeks post-Christmas. The pre-Christmas competition starts from Friday 17th October and runs up until 7th December 2025 (no matches over Labour weekend), and the post-Christmas competition starts from Friday 13th February and runs until 29th March 2026.

Ideally you should be able to commit to both pre and post-Christmas seasons, as all teams are automatically re-entered into the post-Christmas season.

Depending on the draw, matches are either played at Ngataringa Tennis Club, another tennis club on the North Shore, or at Forest Hill or Albany Tennis Centres.
