Kurt has previously been the Head Coach at Feilding Tennis Club for ten years, and is now coaching a number of school teams in Palmerston North.   He is a former Premier 1 player in Wellington, and the winner of many tennis competitions, including the 2021 Manawatu Open Champs.

Kurt is also executive officer of Tennis Manawatu
