Our Hotshots Membership includes three weekly coaching sessions in Term 4 2026 and Term 1 2027. With your membership, you can choose to join one, two or three sessions per week with no additional fees. Groups are divided into three different stages based on age and ability;

• Red Ball (ages 4-7)
• Orange Ball (ages 7-10)
• Green-Dot Ball (ages 9+)

'Hotshots' is an internationally recognized coaching programme (including Tennis New Zealand) catering for children wanting to learn the game and improve their tennis through smaller courts, larger balls and shorter racquets.

As players develop and get older, they transition through the stages from red, orange and then green-dot, before progressing into interclub/competition level tennis. It's essential that players get enough time on-court to develop their skills at a reasonable pace rather than 'rushing' up the stages, as this can lead to bad habits and incorrect technique.

Coaching Sessions for Term 4 2026:

• Wednesday 3:45-4:30pm, Thursday 3:45-4:30pm or Saturday 8:30-9:15am (ages 4-7)
• Wednesday 4:30-5:15pm, Thursday 4:30-5:15pm or Saturday 9:15-10:00am (ages 8+)

Hotshots for Term 4 2026 will begin from 14 October and end on 12 December.
