All club coaching is led by our head coach, Nic Jenkins. 

Nic represented Canterbury throughout his junior career and competed at a National and International level. Alongside his passionate coaching team, he brings a wealth of experience and knowledge for players to develop their tennis to a higher level. Nic caters his coaching style to all ages and abilities, understanding that each individual is unique and has different ways of learning. Nic has recently been the Tennis New Zealand 13U Boys Coach for 2023 and 2024, as well as the Canterbury Coach for Nationals since 2022. 

Nic leads our Hotshots programmes, Junior Interclub trainings and Senior trainings alongside his coaching staff. Our club players are extremely fortunate to have other opportunities to improve their game with his extensive coaching business, Elevate Tennis.

Club Coaching (Term 1 & 4)

- Junior Interclub :  Mon, Tues or Wed. Usually between 4pm and 7pm. 

- Senior Interclub  :  Tuesday's 7pm to 8pm.

- Hotshots (4-8yrs) : Friday and Saturday

- Hotshots (9-16yrs) : Friday and Saturday

What's Hotshots?

Red ball- Play horizontal across court with mini net and 25% compression ball (slightly larger)

Orange ball- Play on 3-4 court and 50% compression ball (same size as green, but still softer)

Green ball - Full court  and 75% compression ball (pre-interclub or 10u interclub)

Elevate Tennis

- Junior Academy (for 'high-performance' players)

- Group Squads (for junior interclub players) 

- Junior Aces (for hotshots/new players) 

- Cardio Tennis (for adult players wanting fitness/tennis)

- Tennis Xpress (for adult players wanting to learn tennis)

- Tournaments (Nic runs 3-4 tournaments per year)

- Trips (Nic travels around NZ tournaments each holidays with juniors)

- Holiday Camps (run each school holidays from 9am to 12pm)

- Private Lessons (available through the week)
