Summer evenings are here, which means it’s time for one of the highlights of our club calendar: Business House Tennis.
Whether you want to bond with your work colleagues outside the office, get some regular matches in with friends and family, or team up with fellow club players, Business House is the best way to kick off your week.
You’ll enjoy a great standard of social tennis, plenty of laughs, and the chance to compete for cash prizes - all wrapped up with a celebratory club BBQ.
You don’t need to be a Havelock North Tennis Club member (or a 'business') to enter, so gather your players and get your entry in!
Competition format
- Where: Havelock North Tennis Club
- When: Monday evenings, matches starting at 5:30 PM.
- Dates: Pre-Christmas: 2 November - 14 December | Post-Christmas: Restarts 1 February | Teams are guaranteed at least 12 weeks of competition (the exact end date depends on weather and final draw).
- Team makeup: 4 players on court each week (2 men & 2 women).
- Weekly match format: Each Monday evening, every player gets plenty of court time with teams contesting Ladies' Doubles, Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
- Prizes & social: We have cash prizes up for grabs and a celebratory BBQ.
- Cost: $320 per team (less than $7 per player a week)

Registrations close on Monday 26 October.
Ready to lock in your spot? Send an email to havelocknorthtennis@gmail.com with the following details:
- Team name
- Team Captain’s name & phone number
- Names of your team members - if you're still finalising your players, email us to save your spot and send your names by 2 November.
