Havelock North Tennis Club

From the very first swing to hard-fought Interclub matches, our tennis community is built for players at every stage. Step onto the court to improve your fitness, connect with local players, or refine your technique with our professional coaching team.

The club hosts a wide range of social and competitive events throughout the year, including the club championships. We also actively promote Tennis New Zealand programmes including Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis, Tennis Express, and Love Tennis, alongside exciting holiday programmes for juniors.

Monday: Performance Squads (May-Oct) 5:30-9:00 pm | Business House (Oct-Apr) 5:30-9:00 pm

Tuesday: Club Day 8:30-11:30 am | Junior Coaching 3:00-4:30 pm | Performance Squads 4:30-7:00 pm | Cardio Tennis 6:00-8:00 pm

Wednesday: Men's 9:00-11:30 am & 5:00-9:00 pm | Junior Coaching 3:00-5:00 pm

Thursday: Ladies Play (Apr-Oct) 9:00-11:00 am | Interclub (Oct-Apr)  8:00-12:00 pm | Junior Coaching 3:00-4:30 pm | Performance Squads 4:30-6:30 pm | Development Squads 6:30-8:30 pm

Friday: Cardio Tennis 8:00-10:00 am | Men's 9:00-11:30 am

Saturday: Junior Saturday Morning (Term 1 & 4) 8:00-10:30 am | Club Day 1:30-4:30 pm | Men's Interclub / TE Interclub (Aug-Dec) 4:30-7:30 pm

Sunday: Men's Singles 8:30-11:30 am

We’ve made it easy and affordable to jump in:

• First session free: Come give it a try. Your first club session is free.
• Casual play: $5 per session for visitors. Visitors are welcome to attend a club day, Cardio Tennis session or play with a member. Please pop your payment into the box in the clubroom (on the wall just outside the bathrooms).
• Book a court: Want to do your own thing? Visitors and members can also reserve a court. Visitors will just need to register online and pay by credit card.
• Become a member: Join the club to enjoy full access to our tennis and pickleball facilities, tournaments and social events.
