The Johnsonville Tennis Club is a very friendly club that welcomes all keen tennis players of any level - whether you're new to the sport or are thinking of coming back after some time away. We're all about getting out there and enjoying ourselves, keeping physically and mentally active, in a fun and inclusive environment.
Our club has been in existence since 1904, making it one of the longest continuously operating sports clubs in the Wellington area. We are situated next to the newly-built Waitohi Library and the Keith Spry swimming pool. Access to the clubhouse is via Wanaka Street.
We have three newly-painted plexipave courts with recently upgraded LED floodlights and court fencing. We regularly enter teams into the regional interclub competitions, as well as support organised events around the country, such as the Over the Hill tournament in Martinborough, the Pukera Bay Easter tournament, and Seniors events around the country.
