Membership Terms and Conditions

All subscriptions include (unless otherwise stated) Tennis Auckland (TA), Tennis New Zealand (TNZ) affiliation fees, GST, lots of play and tons of fun.

 

Members’ Rights and Obligations (from Club Constitution)

Each Member:

  1. shall be entitled to have such rights and benefits at the Club as are attributable to the terms and conditions of their membership category
  2. shall promote the interests and purposes of the Club
  3. shall refrain from doing anything that is likely to or would bring the Club into disrepute
  4. shall be bound by, and comply with, the Constitution and the Rules of the Club
  5. shall be bound by and comply with the rules, policies and codes of conduct issued by TA and TNZ from time to time
  6. shall consent to their personal data and requested information being supplied to and held by the Club, and being supplied to and held by TA and TNZ (including via a digital connection to the TNZ National Database), and being supplied to and held by any relevant authority including the Companies Office, the Charities Registry and the Incorporated Societies Register, and
  7. shall acknowledge that they do not have any rights of ownership of, or the right to use, the property of the Club or TA or TNZ. 

Fair Use Policy

The club’s courts, clubhouse, car park, and all other facilities are provided primarily for the benefit of members and authorised guests during tennis and social activities.  All use is subject to fair and reasonable use, so that all members have a reasonable opportunity to enjoy the club’s facilities.  The Committee may establish, amend, and enforce policies, booking rules, and limits on the use of any club facilities, including courts, the clubhouse, and car park, where it considers this necessary to promote fair access, manage demand, protect club property, or support club activities.
