Junior Interclub

Junior Interclub is for players approximately 9 years old and up. Players are grouped into teams of 4–5, and receive approximately 8 weeks of team coaching in Term 4 and Term 1, plus annual membership. Coaching nights are Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Matches are played Friday afternoons (4.30pm start) or Saturday mornings (8.30am start for 10s and 12s, 10.30am start for 14s & Open).

How to register

Please renew your player's membership on ClubSpark and also complete the registration form to let us know your player's match day and coaching day preferences:

If your player was a Green Ball Intraclub player at St Martins last season, they should register for Interclub.

Please sign up your player by 31 August so we have time to arrange and confirm teams, and enter them with Tennis Canterbury by mid-September.

 

Pre-season training and team sorting sessions

Players should try to attend at least 2 of these slots:

4 September, Friday

  • 4–5pm: New to Interclub and 12 & under
  • 5–6pm: 14 & under & Open teams

6 September, Sunday

  • 9–10am: New to Interclub and 12 & under
  • 10–11am: 14 & under & Open teams

12 September, Saturday

  • 9–10am: New to Interclub and 12 & under
  • 10–11am: 14 & under & Open teams

Coaching starts for Junior Interclub in the week commencing 12 October.

Uniforms: We are hoping to have new junior interclub team shirts this season! More info to come.

Team Managers: A Team Manager's drinks and pre-season meeting will be held on 21 September at 7pm. More info to come.

  • Labour Weekend: No Play
  • Round 2: 30–31 October
  • Round 3: 6–7 November
  • Show Weekend: No Play
  • Round 4: 20–21 November

  • Round 7: 11–12 December

Term 1 2027 (Post-Xmas)

  • Round 1: 29–30 January
  • Waitangi Weekend: No Play
  • Round 2: 12–13 February
