As we head into May, a huge thank you to all those hardy members who supported the working bee in April.  Row 5 was the benefactor of their efforts, with approximately 20 people attending.  Thanks to Tim Preston for the excellent organisation.

Why oh why when you're playing tennis, and you muff a shot, does your partner often say "bad luck" or "hard luck"?  Except for the odd bad bounce when playing on grass, there is no "luck" involved. It's either your bad shot or the oppositions good shot, luck just doesn't come into it at all.  If you're playing Lotto it's only ever luck, but very seldom on the tennis court!!
