June 2024
Hello members
Greetings from the start of winter! As the chilly winds and frosty
mornings embrace us, we hope this newsletter finds you in good
spirits.
In an effort to keep the courts on Row 1 dry and prevent water from seeping onto the playing surface, our groundskeeping volunteer team of Joe, Bryce, Terry and Trevor recently trimmed the hedge on courts 3 and 4 that was obstructing proper drainage. Huge thank you team for a job well done.
We are excited to be able to offer members of our club the first opportunity to purchase net post advertising banners before we go public. This is a great advertising chance you do not want to miss. Details below.
Funding has been secured to upgrade the astro courts 7 and 8 on row 2. Work on these will start in the Spring. Thanks to our funders, One Foundation, The Lion Foundation, Kiwi Gambling Foundation, NZCT Community Trust, Pub Charity Limited and TAB.
We are advertising a position.. check it out below.
Our AGM is coming up in August. We encourage YOU to step forward and join the merry crew, that run this club for you.
Stay warm, stay active, and keep swinging those rackets!
