If anyone buys pizza from Dominos Chch City and uses the code 78934 when they order, Dominos will donate 50c to the club for every pizza bought.

Good news!   TKHP Tennis Club are the recipients of partial funding for the new lights on Row 1.  Thank you The Lion Foundation.

Christine is in the pre-planning stage of next years Seniors Tournament (22/23 January).  If you would like to get experience in running tennis events, or helping out on the day/s please contact Christine at info@tkhptennis.nz.

Registrations open in December.

A quick interview with Christine about the tournament:

What age do you need to be to take part?
Anywhere from 30 - 100!   There are doubles and mixed doubles A and B grade, and an over 120+.

What does it cost?
First you need to be a member of Canterbury Tennis Seniors, or a member of the club that is holding the tournament (unless you are from outside Christchurch). Then the tournament fee is $40 for one day, $45 for two days.  This includes morning and afternoon teas, plus a late afternoon BBQ on Saturday.

Why do you enjoy this tournament at Hagley Park?
The atmosphere of 120 people who are involved over the two days is amazing. I've met people from all around New Zealand and played quality tennis.
