New to Tennis
If you are wanting to find out how to get your child/children involved in tennis, then here are a few key pointers for you.
First of all, find out which clubs are closest to you by looking in the "About Us" section on this website.
The majority of our clubs have the Tennis New Zealand program called Hot Shots in operation. The program has an excellent progressive coaching structure to help children develop movement and co-ordinations skills that are tennis-related. The equipment is cleverly designed to cater to players who are at different stages of their development, which helps them cope with tasks a lot easier.

Tournaments
The landscape of tournaments has changed for the better over the past few years and the changes have boosted the number of players taking part in our events. We run graded events, which means that we look at players' rankings when they enter and match them against other players who are at a similar level. These draws are mixed gender, which has also made a huge difference in being able to get the players more variety of opposition. So there is nothing to fear anymore about being drawn against opposition who are way better than you.
