We hope you are having a good start to Spring,especially with daylight saving
beginning. There is plenty to look forward to in the coming months.
Junior Club Night
Junior Club Night returns next Wednesday, October 16.
These are fun tennis sessions facilitated by Kiwi Tennis professional coaches.
● 4pm - Kiwi Red & Orange (5 - 10 yrs)
● 5pm - Kiwi Green & Teens
● 6pm - Kiwi Bronze, Silver & Gold
This is free for all members. They will run until a few weeks prior to Christmas then
pick up again in the new year.

Interclub Tennis
Senior interclub gets underway Friday next week, October 18th. These are played on
Friday nights from 6pm. Teams are all sorted
Junior interclub begins on Saturday November 2nd. Teams are being finalised now.
We will be in touch with everyone involved soon to let you all know about teams,
rules, conditions of play as well as locations of where other clubs are.
Now is a good time to get all the gear you need for play. Look out for great deals at
Raw Sports at the Waikato Tennis Centre as well as other outlets like Rebel or Werder.
Book A Court
The Club is launching Book A Court. This is a facility to give all casual, non-members
the opportunity to hire a court for play. Bookings are made on our website.
Once the payment has been made a code is provided for them to enter via the new
gate.
The keypad on the padlock is connected to the site and access is granted for that
booked time.
For members, not a lot changes. Access to the club is still via the main gate with the
key. We have blocked out our regular playing sessions for coaching, midweek tennis,
senior club day, junior club night and interclub so casual play does not clash.
It is likely that casual bookings will be on the low side so jumping on a court will be
easy however if members are really wanting to play at a certain time and day then a
member can book too. This will remove the chance of a casual coming along and
jumping in.
There is no charge for the members. We recommend that members

If you haven’t already, click on ‘register’. Your email address will link to your
membership so that when you do book there is no charge. Being registered on our
website guarantees you will receive all notifications and newsletters.
