Hi Everyone

We hope you are enjoying the summer and some mostly decent weather.

A couple of things to let you know about.

Court Bookings

We are in a busy time of year at the club with the courts getting plenty of use, which is great to see.

There is coaching, interclub, club champs matches and club night which can make courts sparse at times.

To avoid disappointment, if you are really keen to have a hit on a certain day and time the best bet is to book the court.

For members there is no charge. It can be done on the Club's website here.

You'll need to sign in (which is quick, easy and a one off) and then book the time you want to play.

You'll receive a confirmation email. If you have a key you can ignore the PIN code.

We know there are times when the courts are empty but doing this will ensure you have a court to hit on.

Casuals do use the website to book courts and as they are paying they get priority for the court that has been booked.

Opportunity

The Club has an opportunity for someone to work as an administrator for us. It is part time and ideally suited to a teenager that is keen to get experience in the workforce and learn new skills. It looks great on a CV when applying for future jobs. It is a few hours a month and wil be paid.

Junior and Senior Club Champs

It will be held all on the one day, with prizes and a BBQ being put on.

The Senior Club Champs is underway. The Finals Day will be Sunday March 1. The draw is a very strong one, basically it is a Waikato Champs. Come on down on the day to watch some very high quality tennis. Again we will be putting a BBQ on for what will be a top day.
