Squash Stars - a Squash NZ initiative delivered by Browns Bay Racquets Club
Do you have children keen to learn how to play squash? If so, the BBRC Squash Stars programme is for you.
| Dates: | Starts Thursday 30th April; finishes Thursday 18th June 2026 |
| Times: | 3:45pm - 4:15pm for children 5-8 years 4:15pm - 5:00pm for children 9-12 years old |
| Fees: | 5-8 years - $7.50 per session; $60 for the 8 week programme 9-12 years - $10 per session; $80 for the 8 week programme |
| Coaches: | Sion Wiggin & BBRC assistant coaches |
| Requirements: | No need for children to have played squash before or to have a racquet - these will be supplied if necessary; just wear indoor, non-marking shoes, tee shirt and shorts/tights. |
At the end of the 8 week programme, children in the first class will have learnt the basic skills of squash, the rules and have had a lot of fun with people their own age. Children in the second class will have had the opportunity to play games against people of similar ability, advance the range of their squash skills, and had lots of fun.
