When you begin to register with Coldstream Tennis Club by selecting one of the packages below, you will be asked to create an account if you do not already have one (this is free and necessary to commence the online registration process).
Booking courts (and getting the lights on):
Once you have registered and paid for one of the membership packages below, you will be able to book courts for free through Clubspark. The lights will automatically turn on for any booked court when it is getting dark. The lights will automatically turn off once the time you have booked is up. For Junior memberships:
As the Adult Parent/Guardian/Primary caregiver, you will be asked to enter your details and then the details of the child/children you wish to register.
For all memberships (Adult and Junior):
Online payment can be made by credit/debit card through the Stripe payment gateway or by paying into our club account 03-0674-0272504-000. Depending on the membership you pick, you will be asked to reference different things if you are paying into our club account.
Your membership will be activated once payment is received by our club.
Family membership discounts for 25/26:
Two or more family members receive $10 off each individual membership.
Please make sure you register each individual member into their membership package.
You will need to pay this into the club account 03-0674-0272504-000.
Juniors/Hot Shots:
All Junior coaching will commence in week one of Term 4 2025 (The week of the 6th October).
Blue Stage (4-5 year olds) - developing fundamental motor skills, movement, coordination, and racket and ball skills, necessary to the game of tennis.
Red Stage (6-8 year olds)- playing across the court using a modified net, balls (25% compression), and racquets. We bring the game down to the size of the child. Emphasis on developing movement and coordination while working together with others.
Orange Stage (8-13 year olds)- playing across the full net but in a modified court size using orange balls (50% compression). Players are encouraged to explore the court space and to start to work on the basic principles and strategies of playing tennis.
Green Stage (9-15 year olds)- Up to full court play using green balls (75% compression). This is the transition stage to prepare players for playing matches in junior interclub.
Junior Interclub (9-16 year olds)- Weekly matches (in term 4 2025 & term 1 2026) against other clubs in North Canterbury - split into two grades: Beginners Grade (formerly known as D Grade) & Junior Open Grade (Junior A, B, C grades combined). Organised Adult Social Tennis:
Can sign up for Social Adult membership and play as often as you like to, or pay $10 each time you come to social tennis.
Organised Social Tennis times:
- Tuesdays: 10am - 12pm (noon)
- Wednesdays: 5.30pm - 7.30pm (under lights)
- Sundays: 10am - 12pm (noon)
- Possibly Saturday afternoons
