Health and Safety Policy
The Management Team is committed to ensuring all members and guests of Lynfield Tennis Club can play and enjoy tennis in a safe environment.
The Management Team will discuss Health and Safety at each monthly meeting. This will include discussing whether any incidents/accidents have occurred across the past month, or new hazards have been identified.
Where incidents/accidents have occurred, the Management Team will discuss if there is any way to prevent these from happening again.
Where new hazards have been identified, the Management Team will arrange for these to be eliminated (or reduced if elimination is not possible) as soon as practical.
In the event any pressing health and safety issues are identified, the Management Team will discuss how to resolve these as soon as practical, as it may not be appropriate to wait until the next Management Team meeting.
The Management Team requests that:
- All Club members take care in the clubrooms, around the club grounds, and on the tennis courts.
- All members take responsibility for safety around the Club, and upon identifying a hazard, will address the hazard if possible.
- All Club members make a member of the Management Team aware of anything around the Club that the member considers unsafe.
- All Club members report any injuries/incidents in the incident notebook which is located in the First Aid Kit.
