Junior Club Day

Our Junior Club Day runs weekly on a Sunday from September to April- with a break during school holidays.
The 2026/27 season begins on Sunday 20th September

  • Junior club is for players aged 5 years to 18 years old - and new members are very welcome
  • Programmes are run by professional coaches from 2pm 
  • Training includes coaching, fun games, matches

Session Times


2-3pm orange and green ball  (12 and under) - lots of games to develop skills

3-4pm developing players with some experience and new interclub players (10 plus) focus on point play, competing and skill development.

4pm - 5:30pm squad level - Interclub Juniors intermediate and higher interclub - matchplay, competing, skill development.

*Please note these sessions are a guideline based on age and we can move people between groups to suit skill level and friendships!

* If weather is not suitable for coaching on court we have the Scout Hall for indoor activity options; hand eye co-ordination, reaction drills, foam ball hitting / mini rallies, footwork, scoring games (dice tennis), swing lines, video feedback, strategies and point construction, table tennis (tennis style).
Therefore we will not cancel any Sunday Club Days.

  • Juniors also have court priority 3pm-6pm Mondays to Fridays, and can use courts at other times when free
  • Club racquets available for sessions

Junior Interclub

Play in teams of four and compete against other Clubs at home and away venues on Saturday mornings (October to March).
A great way to experience matches and make friends!


Junior Club Champs

A fun tournament to put all your skills to the test - all age groups - singles, doubles and mixed.
A well known fact - the prizegiving celebration for Junior Club Champs always has the best selection of food!

Family Tournament

An event to get your favourite supporters from your whanau out on court in a doubles tournament.  Open to all ages - we use softer transition tennis balls for the younger players and promise to take it easy on the parents, grandparents and friends that join in as well.
