Junior Interclub 2023/24 Season
Junior Interclub is played on Saturday mornings at 9 am at the Ashburton Trust Tennis Centre & at other club courts.
Players must belong to a local Tennis Club & be entered in an Interclub team at a grade appropriate to their skill level.

2nd/3rd December - Underage Champs (No Interclub)

16th December - Interclub
POST CHRISTMAS
10th February - Interclub
17th/18th February - Graded Tournament (No Interclub)
24th February - Interclub
2nd March - Interclub
9th March - Interclub
16th March - Interclub
23rd March - Interclub finishes
ALL INTERCLUB PLAYERS are strongly encouraged to play in at least one tournament for the season. If we do not continue to support these events, they will not continue.
End of season Prize Giving is usally held on the last day of Interclub in March.
Grades for 2023-24 Season
The competition is divided into 4 grades according to the players' ability.
The Grade are:
Junior C: Beginners grade: all those new to Saturday interclub tennis.
Junior B: Intermediate/beginners (those who played a full season of Junior C in 2022/23).
Junior A: Experienced hitters, ready to use full bounce balls and play two sets of singles and two sets of doubles.
A Reserve: Experienced Junior players (year 9+)
