Mt Albert Tennis Club - Member Responsibilities
- The courts are for tennis only. No other balls and skateboards etc to be used within the tennis grounds as these can damage the courts and nets.
- Member’s keys must not be given to any non-member.
- If a member brings a visitor to the club, it is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the visitor’s fee of $10 per person is placed in the box (by side door) or online before commencement of play. This includes non member parents who are playing with member children.
- Private coaching is not allowed by anyone other than the club coach, or with the committee’s approval.
- No Smoking on Tennis premises, or alcohol unless prior permission from the committee.
- Courts may be slippery when wet, so all care will be taken to prevent injury.
- Children who are not being coached, will be supervised by their parent/caregiver while at the Club.
- Members in breach of the above responsibilities may have their membership suspended.
- Subscriptions must be paid in full before coaching can commence.
- Interclub fees must be paid before submitting a team to Auckland Tennis.
- Limit play to 1 hour if other players are waiting for a court.
- Last member to leave must ensure gates to courts are closed, all lights are turned off, clubroom locked.
