Mt Albert Tennis Club - Member Responsibilities

  1. The courts are for tennis only. No other balls and skateboards etc to be used within the tennis grounds as these can damage the courts and nets.
     
  2. Member’s keys must not be given to any non-member.
     
  3. If a member brings a visitor to the club, it is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the visitor’s fee of $10 per person is placed in the box (by side door) or online before commencement of play. This includes non member parents who are playing with member children.
     
  4. Private coaching is not allowed by anyone other than the club coach, or with the committee’s approval.
     
  5. No Smoking on Tennis premises, or alcohol unless prior permission from the committee.
     
  6. Courts may be slippery when wet, so all care will be taken to prevent injury.
     
  7. Children who are not being coached, will be supervised by their parent/caregiver while at the Club.
     
  8. Members in breach of the above responsibilities may have their membership suspended.
     
  9. Subscriptions must be paid in full before coaching can commence.
     
  10. Interclub fees must be paid before submitting a team to Auckland Tennis.
     
  11. Limit play to 1 hour if other players are waiting for a court.
     
  12. Last member to leave must ensure gates to courts are closed, all lights are turned off, clubroom locked.
