Who are we?
Tennis BOP is an incorporated society and a designated Local Tennis Partner (LTP) with Tennis New Zealand, supporting the growth and delivery of tennis across the Bay of Plenty region excluding the area that is covered by Tennis Western Bay of Plenty (Tennis WBOP).
Tennis BOP is a Board representing it's four member tennis clubs: Rotorua Tennis Club, Lynmore Tennis Club (located in Rotorua eastern suburbs), Whakatane Tennis Club and Taupo Tennis Club.
The Board comprises of two delegates from each member club.
What do we do?
Tennis Bay of Plenty is formally recognised by Tennis New Zealand as a Local Tennis Partner (LTP). Local Tennis Partners work alongside Regional Tennis Organisations to deliver a defined set of services that support clubs and players at a community level.
As an LTP, Tennis BOP strives to contribute to:
- local competition delivery and coordination within it's area
- providing tennis-related support to all member clubs and their people and the community at large
- community‑based tennis initiatives
- supporting high-performance at junior and open grade levels
- liaison between clubs, the regional body, and Tennis New Zealand
As a result Tennis BOP works closely with Tennis Western Bay of Plenty and Tennis New Zealand to ensure consistent delivery of national and regional programmes where applicable

Tennis Bay of Plenty Member Clubs Tennis Bay of Plenty is supported by four affiliated clubs across the region. Each club provides social play, coaching, competitions, and community tennis opportunities.
