Rally & Romance : Singles Tennis Comes back to Mission Bay !

Tennis One is partnering with Thursday Auckland to bring something new to Mission Bay Tennis Club , a singles social built around tennis, not screens.

Rally & Romance is a relaxed, all-levels tennis event designed for Auckland singles who'd rather meet someone on the court than through an app. Whether you're a complete beginner or a confident rallying partner, this is a low-pressure afternoon of tennis, laughter, and good company.

What to Expect

Guests will take part in guided rallies and social play in a relaxed, welcoming environment — no pressure, no pretending to be better than you are. It's tennis as a genuine icebreaker, not a performance.

Coming alone? You're in good company — roughly 40% of Thursday Auckland attendees arrive solo, and it's often the easiest way to meet people. Coming with friends is just as welcome.

About the Partnership

This event is co-hosted by Tennis One, Auckland's award winning tennis community based at Mission Bay Tennis Club, and Thursday Auckland, the singles events platform behind weekly meetups across the city. Together, the two communities are creating a social tennis experience where connection happens naturally, on the court, in the sun, over a drink.
