Tennis With The Girls Is Back  & Mission Bay Isn't Ready For It.

Here's the truth nobody tells you about "getting into tennis": you don't need to be good. You just need to show up.

The first edition sold out. Not because everyone who bought a ticket was a tennis player; most weren't. They bought it because for one night, tennis wasn't a sport. It was an excuse. An excuse to move, to meet women outside your usual circle, and to spend a Saturday night doing something that actually leaves you feeling better, not worse.

This August, Tennis One is teaming up with A Balanced Co. NZ to bring it back to Mission Bay Tennis Club.

Here's how the night runs:

You'll start with a guided tennis workshop, led by the Tennis One coaching team;  the same coaches behind back-to-back Tennis Auckland and Tennis New Zealand Club of the Year wins. No pressure, no judgement, no "have you played before?" energy. Just enough coaching to get you rallying, laughing, and comfortable on court within minutes.

From there, it opens into relaxed social matches with mixed skill levels, easy rotations, more about connection than competition.

Then the rackets come down and the real socialising kicks in, with complimentary drinks and good company to close out the night.
