Wadestown Tennis Club

Wadestown Tennis Club enters teams into the Tennis Central Wellington junior interclub competition in terms 1 and 4.

For those new to interclub, it's a great way for kids to start playing actual tennis matches.  They'll be serving and having rallies in no time, and will learn how to properly score a game. 

There's a novice grade for kids 12 and under who have not played interclub before.  This is a great introduction to club tennis, but typically is best for kids who are end of year 4 or above.

The format is 4 players per match (each playing a singles and doubles game), but we recommend having 5-6 players in a team to cover for absences.

Games are typically played locally, and often at the Wadestown School courts.  Mostly Sunday mornings, but girls’ novice grade is Saturday morning.
