Welcome to one of the oldest tennis clubs in New Zealand!
The Whanganui Tennis Club, along with the Parnell and Thorndon Tennis Clubs, are the oldest in New Zealand, and among only a few others in the world from these times still in existence.
It is our goal to provide an inclusive opportunity to people of all ages to develop their tennis skills to the level they desire; to provide facilities compliant with NZ tennis standards and maintained to a sustainable level of attractiveness, operation and safety.

LOVE TENNIS - 13 September 2026
Love Tennis is a free open day for anyone who wants to give tennis a go. Fun games, giveaways, prizes, a sausage sizzle, and half-price memberships if you sign up on the day. No experience or equipment needed and you can bring the whole family!
