Bishopdale Tennis Club

We are a local and very friendly Tennis Club located at 35 Leacroft Street, Bishopdale, Christchurch -  right next door to Bishopdale Park.

We are lucky enough to have some of the best courts in Christchurch, so whether you want a casual hit with your friends, or are up to the challenge of interclub, there are opportunities to suit both social and competitive players.      

Here's some of what we offer:

• 6 hard courts with lights, members can use in the Winter months 
• Junior and adult coaching programs for anyone who would like to learn how to play tennis. Available during school terms.
• Opportunities to play in the Canterbury Tennis, Junior, Senior Mixed, Senior Women's, or Senior Men's Divisional competitions
• Mid-week evening or Saturday afternoon Social Tennis
• A clubhouse bar where you can enjoy a drink after tennis and get to know the friendly bunch that frequent it

We have some very strong Junior players, who are achieving great results both locally and nationally, and we are immensely proud of all our teams competing in the Canterbury Tennis Interclub competitions. 

We welcome people of all ages and abilities, so please pop in and see what you think of our excellent facilities.

When you join you are a member of the Club for a year. The Club  supplies coaching for term 4 and term 1. You can choose to get coaching in term 2 and 3 at an additional cost.
