The membership year begins 1 September 2026 and all subscriptions are due by 5th September.

When you join you are a Member for a year but the Club only supplies coaching for term 4 and term 1. You can choose to get coaching in term 2 and 3 at an additional cost.

Alternatively, Visitors are always welcome and can pay $10 per session.

Bishopdale TC enters Junior and Senior teams into the Tennis Canterbury competition.

Juniors compete in interclub either:

Friday 4.30 pm
Saturday morning 8.30 am (12's ages and below)
Saturday 10.30 am (13's and up)

Seniors can play either:

Saturday afternoons in a mixed grade (2 men and 2 women)
Mens or Womens divisions on Sunday morning
Mens or Womens doubles on Tuesday 6pm

Senior Interclub Players

The Club supplies training on a Wednesday night as part of being in an interclub team. It runs from 6-7pm during the interclub season.

First games for Divisional and Mixed Grades is 3/4 October 2026

Junior Interclub Players

Could you please email us with when you are unable to train within the following times. This will give us the greatest flexibility for setting up coaching times with the entire team.

Monday 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7 pm

Tuesday 4-5 and 5-6 pm

Wednesday 4-5, 5-6 and 6-7 pm.

Gate Key

A gate key is available for purchase for $30.

Lights can be turned on between March 1 and November 1 Monday to Friday. 7-8am and 4.30-9pm.

All subscriptions are to be paid into Bishopdale Tennis Club account 03-1702-0024140-00. Please put your child's name and the program they are joining in the details. For example, Nina Smith and Kiwi Tennis.
