About Us

Highfield Tennis Club is an Incorporated Society (charity) that was established on 20 January 1931 and is a warm and welcoming club with a great atmosphere. We take pride in our facility and love tennis both at a competitive and social level.

Highfield has a strong membership makeup and has great support from players, parents, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, and committees. It is with this that Highfield looks to the future to continue to grow tennis within the community and support Tennis South Canterbury.

 

Our Mission

Highfield looks to enhance the abilities of all players in the club, helping them to achieve at competitive and social levels of tennis, providing quality coaching, high-grade facilities, and regular tennis programs for all ages.

Term 4 and 1 - Cardio Tennis with Connor Brosnahan 

You’ll love Cardio Tennis whether you’re a tennis player or not, so why not give it a try? You don’t have a racket? Don’t worry Connor will bring one for you.

  • When: Monday 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Where: Highfiled Tennis Club - 35 Spring Road, Gleniti, Timaru 7910
  • Cost non-member: $15 per person per lesson or $100 per Term
  • Cost: $5 per person per lesson or $40 per Term for all Highfield Tennis Club Members

Membership

Memberships for our 2024/25 season are now open for the year 1 October 2024 – 30 September 2025. Fees include GST.

The club is affiliated to South Canterbury Tennis. All membership fees include a levy that goes to Tennis South Canterbury & Tennis NZ. For all seniors interested in joining interclub competition may have to pay a interclub fee. Juniros is included in the membership.

Everyone can join any time during the year, we always accept new members.
