The Midweek section held its 2021 Kerry Dear tournament on 16 November in very windy conditions but the threatened rain did not arrive until all the matches had been completed.    The tournament consists of pairs whom the committee considers have an even chance of winning with each pair playing three matches against other pairs.   The objective is to gain table tennis points in 20 minutes of match play, with the winners being the pair who have accumulated the most points.   

The winners with 78 points were Tim Brosnahan and Gay Monk and the runners-up with 77 points were Jan Henderson and Mette Kieler.
