Junior Interclub Registrations are now open under 'Registrations tab above' 

Junior Club Night- Every Second Friday 4:00-7:00pm (starts 11th October). 

A fun and welcoming afternoon welcome to all kids. Every second week we will run session from the following times: 

• Session 1 - 4:00 pm to 5:00pm Red and Orange Ball 
• Session 2 - 5:00pm to 6:00pm Green Ball and Beginner Interclub 
• Session 3 -  6:00pm to 7:00pm Junior Interclub. 

Sessions will include a mix of basic coaching, skill building and fun games. It is a great way for juniors to improve their tennis, make friends and enjoy being part of the club community. For the Green Ball and Interclub players- club night includes match-play practice. 

To make club night run smoothly, we are on te look out for parent helpers and volunteers.

Junior Tennis Pathway – Coaching to Interclub

Our junior tennis pathway is designed to support young players as they progress from learning the game to playing competitive matches.

Players begin with Club Coaching working through the Red, Orange, and Green Ball stages. Once a player reaches Green Ball level and demonstrates good understanding of the rules, scoring, and match play etiquette, they are ready to move into Junior Interclub.

Junior Interclub is a team-based competition run by Auckland Tennis across Term 4 (Pre-Christmas) and Term 1 (Post-Christmas). Players are grouped by age and ability into either Beginner or Open grades:

• Beginner Grade:

  • Saturdays at 12:00 pm or 12:30 pm

  • Sundays at 9:00 am
    Ideal for players new to competitive tennis.

• Open Grade (for more experienced players):

  • Saturdays at 8:30 am

  • Sundays at 9:00 am

This pathway ensures players develop at their own pace, gaining confidence and experience as they grow in the game.
