Rules & Duty Team Tasks

Rules

Teams are made up of 3 players.

All players need to be Club members.

Proper tennis shoes must be worn on the courts.

Due to changes in the club’s liquor licensing requirements and WTA decisions, the playing courts are alcohol and smoke free.

Each team must take a turn being on duty.  This involves helping to cook food on the BBQ which is a condition of our liquor licence.

Defaults

If unavailable to field a team, please advise:

• the captain of the opposition team
• the convenor of the draw for your night

If you let the convenor know in plenty of time, they may be able to match up teams where two teams in the same grade default.

Duty team tasks

On arrival, introduce your team to the bar manager.

Set up BBQ and cook sausages and burger patties.

Assist bar manager with providing food and drinks as requested.

Scrape BBQ and put it away. 

Assist bar manager with clean up including doing any dishes, picking up empty bottles and ensuring rubbish is in the bins.

Lock up club if required.
