Our old clubhouse was built in 1929 as a working bee and served Milford very well.
However, it was earthquake prone and uneconomic to repair; it had to be replaced. Warren Payne (club member) of Ashton Mitchell, architects designed an iconic new clubhouse for the Club and the wider Milford community to enjoy for many years to come.
After many years of fundraising and a huge number of volunteer hours, we "broke ground" in December 2018.

Boyd Senior and his team at Senior Construction completed the build on time and on budget, just in time for the start of the 2019/20 season. The old clubhouse has now been demolished and the old furniture donated to a church community in Samoa.
The Local Board and Auckland Council were extremely supportive and we have received generous funding from Auckland Council, Youthtown, NZCT, Grass Roots Trust and Foundation North (formerly ASB Trust).
We held countless successful fundraising events - Dinner Dances, Quiz Nights, A Givealittle Campaign, Movie Nights......
The final, but vital piece in the jigsaw - A Private Bond Offer in August 2018 raised $280,000 from 14 generous club investors.
A huge community effort.
